Sourate 63 : Les hypocrites (Al-munafiqun)

Quand les hypocrites viennent à toi, ils disent : Nous attestons que tu es certes le Messager de Dieu ; Dieu sait que tu es vraiment Son messager ; et Dieu atteste que les hypocrites sont assurément des menteurs.

إِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ قَالُوا۟ نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُۥ وَٱللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

'Idhā Jā'aka Al-Munāfiqūna Qālū Nash/hadu 'Innaka Larasūlu Allāhi Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu 'Innaka Larasūluhu Wa Allāhu Yash/hadu 'Inna Al-Munāfiqīna Lakādhibūna

When the hypocrites come to you ˹O Prophet˺, they say, “We bear witness that you are certainly the Messenger of Allah”—and surely Allah knows that you are His Messenger—but Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are truly liars.

Ils prennent leurs serments pour bouclier et obstruent le chemin de Dieu. Quelles mauvaises choses que ce qu'ils faisaient !

ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةًۭ فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

Attakhadhū 'Aymānahum Junnatan Faşaddū `An Sabīli Allāhi 'Innahum Sā'a Mā Kānū Ya`malūna

They have made their ˹false˺ oaths as a shield, hindering ˹others˺ from the Way of Allah. Evil indeed is what they do!

C'est parce qu'en vérité, ils ont cru, puis rejeté la foi. Leurs cœurs donc, ont été scellés, de sorte qu'ils ne comprennent rien.

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

Dhālika Bi'annahum 'Āmanū Thumma Kafarū Faţubi`a `Alá Qulūbihim Fahum Lā Yafqahūna

This is because they believed and then abandoned faith. Therefore, their hearts have been sealed, so they do not comprehend.

Et quand tu les vois, leurs corps t'émerveillent ; et s'ils parlent, tu écoutes leur parole. ils sont comme des bûches appuyées (contre des murs) et ils pensent que chaque cri est dirigé contre eux. L'ennemi c'est eux. Prends-y garde. Que Dieu les extermine ! Comme les voilà détournés (du droit chemin).

۞ وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ أَجْسَامُهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَقُولُوا۟ تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْ ۖ كَأَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌۭ مُّسَنَّدَةٌۭ ۖ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ هُمُ ٱلْعَدُوُّ فَٱحْذَرْهُمْ ۚ قَٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ

Wa 'Idhā Ra'aytahum Tu`jibuka 'Ajsāmuhum Wa 'In Yaqūlū Tasma` Liqawlihim Ka'annahum Khushubun Musannadatun Yaĥsabūna Kulla Şayĥatin `Alayhim Humu Al-`Adūwu Fāĥdharhum Qātalahumu Allāhu 'Anná Yu'ufakūna

When you see them, their appearance impresses you. And when they speak, you listen to their ˹impressive˺ speech. But they are ˹just˺ like ˹worthless˺ planks of wood leaned ˹against a wall˺. They think every cry is against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded ˹from the truth˺?

Et quand on leur dit : Venez que le Messager de Dieu implore le pardon pour vous, ils détournent leurs têtes, et tu les vois se détourner tandis qu'ils s'enflent d'orgueil.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا۟ يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ لَوَّوْا۟ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَرَأَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ وَهُم مُّسْتَكْبِرُونَ

Wa 'Idhā Qīla Lahum Ta`ālaw Yastaghfir Lakum Rasūlu Allāhi Lawwaw Ru'ūsahum Wa Ra'aytahum Yaşuddūna Wa Hum Mustakbirūna

When it is said to them, “Come! The Messenger of Allah will pray for you to be forgiven,” they turn their heads ˹in disgust˺, and you see them ˹O Prophet˺ turn away in arrogance.

C'est égal, pour eux, que tu implores le pardon pour eux ou que tu ne le fasses pas : Dieu ne leur pardonnera jamais, car Dieu ne guide pas les gens pervers.

سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ أَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ لَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ

Sawā'un `Alayhim 'Āstaghfarta Lahum 'Am Lam Tastaghfir Lahum Lan Yaghfira Allāhu Lahum 'Inna Allāha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Al-Fāsiqīna

It is the same whether you pray for their forgiveness or not, Allah will not forgive them. Surely Allah does not guide the rebellious people.

Ce sont eux qui disent : Ne dépensez point pour ceux qui sont auprès du Messager de Dieu, afin qu'ils se dispersent. Et c'est à Dieu qu'appartiennent les trésors des cieux et de la terre, mais les hypocrites ne comprennent pas.

هُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ حَتَّىٰ يَنفَضُّوا۟ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ خَزَآئِنُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ

Humu Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Lā Tunfiqū `Alá Man `Inda Rasūli Allāhi Ĥattá Yanfađđū Wa Lillahi Khazā'inu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Lakinna Al-Munāfiqīna Lā Yafqahūna

They are the ones who say ˹to one another˺, “Do not spend ˹anything˺ on those ˹emigrants˺ with the Messenger of Allah so that they will break away ˹from him˺.” But to Allah ˹alone˺ belong the treasuries of the heavens and the earth, yet the hypocrites do not comprehend.

Ils disent : Si nous retournons à Médine, le plus puissant en fera assurément sortir le plus humble. Or c'est à Dieu qu'est la puissance ainsi qu'à Son messager et aux croyants. Mais les hypocrites ne le savent pas.

يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Yaqūlūna La'in Raja`nā 'Ilá Al-Madīnati Layukhrijanna Al-'A`azzu Minhā Al-'Adhalla Wa Lillahi Al-`Izzatu Wa Lirasūlihi Wa Lilmu'uminīna Wa Lakinna Al-Munāfiqīna Lā Ya`lamūna

They say, “If we return to Medina, the honourable will definitely expel the inferior.” But all honour and power belongs to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, yet the hypocrites do not know.

Ô vous qui avez cru ! Que ni vos biens ni vos enfants ne vous distraient du rappel de Dieu. Et quiconque fait cela... alors ceux-là seront les perdants.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tulhikum 'Amwālukum Wa Lā 'Awlādukum `An Dhikri Allāhi Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna

O believers! Do not let your wealth or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. For whoever does so, it is they who are the ˹true˺ losers.

Et dépensez de ce que Nous vous avons octroyé avant que la mort ne vienne à l'un de vous et qu'il dise alors : Seigneur ! si seulement Tu m'accordais un court délai : je ferais l'aumône et serais parmi les gens de bien.

وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

Wa 'Anfiqū Min Mā Razaqnākum Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiya 'Aĥadakumu Al-Mawtu Fayaqūla Rabbi Lawlā 'Akhartanī 'Ilá 'Ajalin Qarībin Fa'aşşaddaqa Wa 'Akun Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna

And donate from what We have provided for you before death comes to one of you, and you cry, “My Lord! If only You delayed me for a short while, I would give in charity and be one of the righteous.”

Dieu cependant n'accorde jamais de délai à une âme dont le terme est arrivé. Et Dieu est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites.

وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهَا ۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

Wa Lan Yu'uakhira Allāhu Nafsāan 'Idhā Jā'a 'Ajaluhā Wa Allāhu Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna

But Allah never delays a soul when its appointed time comes. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
